45 percent of applicants to Brevard College were admitted for fall 2017

At Brevard College, 95 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 55 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.


At Brevard College, 95 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 55 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Brevard enrolled 677 students in fall 2017, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 6.6 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

56 percent of undergraduates are residents of North Carolina, and 43 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (66 percent) and Black or African American (13 percent).

The school admitted 45 percent of the 2,450 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 22 percent enrolled.
