Graduates earn 1,133 degrees from High Point University


About 34.4 percent of the 1,133 degrees and certificates handed out by High Point University in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Point conferred 367 bachelor's degrees and 23 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in general business administration and management. Data shows the school gave out 213 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management, followed by 212 bachelor's degrees in general communication and 79 bachelor's degrees in kinesiology and exercise science.

The university enrolled 4,951 students for 2017-18, including 4,467 in undergraduate programs and 484 in graduate programs.
