Nashville, North Carolina had a population of 5,473 people in 2017, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the North Carolina Business Daily.

The median age was 49, with 57 percent of the total population being female and 43 percent male.

The state’s total population in 2017 was 10,052,564.
