Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Isothermal Community College


In-state tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Isothermal Community College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

North Carolina residents paid $2,542 to attend the two-year public institution in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Non-resident students would have paid 241.7 percent more than residents this year, or $8,686. Non-resident tuition and fees were unchanged from $8,686 in 2017-18.

Data shows 71 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 171 students received grants or scholarships totaling $1.1 million.
