Census Bureau: More men than women in Marion in 2017


Of the 7,752 people living in Marion in 2017, 43.8 percent (3,395) were women and 56.2 percent (4,357) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the North Carolina Business Daily.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 2,641-to-2,083. In the 65 years and over age range, there were 756 females and 494 males.
