Census Bureau: More women than men in Mountain View in 2017


Of the 3,308 people living in Mountain View in 2017, 52.6 percent (1,739) were women and 47.4 percent (1,569) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the North Carolina Business Daily.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 1,053-to-1,002. In the 65 years and over age range, there were 235 females and 256 males.
